This is the first episode of our podcast in English. We are joined by dr Jan Rybak (Birkbeck, University of London) who is the author of the book "Everyday Zionism in East-Central Europe: Nation-Building in War and Revolution, 1914-1920". We talk about the left-wing Zionists' political choices, relations with other parties of the Jewish Left, relief and welfare work and strategies for building their political project amidst the horrifying crisis caused by the First World War.
