Today we will talk with Sofia Lundeholm about the backgrounds and basic assumptions of mobility. What is the PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE of mobility? How did we shape our cities 2000 years ago? What is mobility about nowadays? What will be the future mobility trends?
I was also curious about: who is deciding about mobility and shaping it in our cites? Is it us - citizens or rather decision-makers and the city councils? What about the electric and autonomous cars? All in all, they are still… cars, occupying our commonly owned public spaces and streets. We end our talk trying to answer the question: what is the future of mobility?
Sofia is a Lead Urban Designer and Senior Architect - at Henning Larsen Architects. She is leading a collaborative study about the impact of future mobility on the design of cities between Henning Larsen Architects and Rambøll Smart Mobility.
