She is an PPP professional with over 15 years of international experience, specializing in the social infrastructure sectors in emerging markets.

Mrs. Jumatova has been advising government clients on the structuring and tendering of privately financed transactions in the healthcare, education, transport, mining and energy sectors.

Prior to joining IFC, she worked at the Samruk-Kazyna Welfare Management Fund in Kazakhstan and a private equity firm specializing in infrastructure investments in Central Asia.

Aknur holds master’s degree in Economic Development from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee (USA).
