What if we told you that one of the most gifted guitar blues players today was born in a country famous more for football than guitar heroes? Or that he became a TED`x speaker when he was just 16 years old? Or that he could barely say anything in English when he arrived in America to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional blues musician? Artur Menezes is a true inspiration for people who may have doubts about themselves, but their dream is much bigger than fear.
We spoke with Artur for almost an hour, because he is such an amazing storyteller. During the interview we asked him about his family, impressive work ethic, how he was chosen by Eric Clapton to play at Crossroads Guitar Festival and to describe the Joy of sharing the stage with legends of the blues: Eric Clapton or Buddy Guy.
